Popular Broadway Musical Joseph Returns to Knoxville

The Musical “Joseph” Returns to Knoxville This Week

For those who love Tim Rice & Andrew Lloyd Webber productions, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat is being performed at Erin Presbyterian Church on Thurs, Fri, Sat and Sun of this week. The Erin Youth Players, who have performed Honk! and Seussical the Musical over the past two summers, are now ready to bring Joseph to the Knoxville Community.

The Youth Players are made up of teenagers from all over Knox County. Cynthia House of Erin Presbyterian Church formed the Players several years ago as a means of encouraging young talented actors, singers, and dancers to work on their skills throughout the summer. It is an inter-denominational and inter-racial group, bringing together young people from all over the city.

Performances take place on Thurs 26, Fri 27 and Sat 28 at 7.30pm. Matinee performances begin at 2.00pm on Sat 28 and Sun 29. Tickets are $8.00 per adult, $5 for Seniors, students, and groups. $25 is the family maximum.

Erin Presbyterian Church is situated at 200 Lockett Road, which is just off Kingston Pike at Bearden Hill, between the Library and Humane Center.
